The Web Rally

Goal: To follow a list of instructions through the web, finally reaching the goal (first ?).

Motivation: because it is there.

What do you get if you win: (possible) praise, admiration, and glory; that's about it. You also get a certain sense of pride at having wasted a lot of time. And now.. the oticar exhibit has moved to the end of the rally. This is not so much a prize as a form of punishment.

How to play: Select a rally. There is just one, currently. Then clone that page and follow the hints. Each hint corresponds to at least one WWW link. That is, each hint corresponds to one or more mouse clicks. You'll know when you get to the end.

What if you need help ? You can view the hints page.

Who has done it so far ? A few people have finished the whimpy rally, but no one has managed with the thick, meaty and rather difficult first rally. It seems to be far too hard, or people are not wasting their time on the net like good boys and girls do. So try the whimpy rally, which is the second, first.
